Zamani is a thatching company situated on the North Coast of Kwazulu Natal on a farm called Maroupi farm De Jaagerskraal. We are based in KwaZulu-Natal, and focus primarily in a 100 km radius around Durban.

 

We specialize in thatching whether you have a new structure to be built, combing or repair work to be done. We currently have 19 staff members which all reside on our farm as we supply accommodation and transportation, giving punctuality and security. The team is experienced and are specialist thatchers, that use the highest quality reed and thatching grass available.

 

Even though the company is still relatively young, the Director has owned three thatching companies and has had over eight years of experience in thatching hotels and game lodges, to the construction of many domestic entertainment areas.

Zamani uses treated poles, which are SABS approved, and the structure is always approved by a certified Engineer (certificate provided). We take care when thatching to ensure that we are able to achieve good compaction and density to prevent the ingress of water. The thatching varies in thickness, but will never be less than 180 mm.

 

Our workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 5 years.
